As studies have shown, making appropriate food choices are key to long-term health. Studies also show that adults who eat at least three servings of whole grains each day…

together with a balanced diet that includes fresh fruits and vegetables, lower their risk of disease and are much more likely to maintain a healthy weight.

Making nutrient dense, healthy food choices is especially important in the development and long-term health of children.  Along with the three main meals each day, mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are an essential part of a child’s daily menu.  Healthy snacks for children help maintain energy levels and keep them “alert” during the school day.

As a breakfast choice, or as an after-school snack option, Monkey Brains oatmeal provides the fuel your children need as Monkey Brains whole grain oatmeal is 100% natural and low in sugar and sodium.  Monkey Bars chewy granola bars are a nutritious mid-morning snack that provides the complex carbohydrates school age children need to maintain energy and focus.  Both Monkey Brains and Monkey Bars contain a prebiotic fiber that aids in digestion.

Monkey Brains and Monkey Bars are great tasting wholesome food choices that are easy to make, fun to eat and good for the whole family (yep, big kids too).

You know its “Crazy Healthy.”  They just know it tastes great!

As a clinical dietitan and mom of a two year old, I am a big advocate of healthy eating and truly believe the best way to instill this with our kids is to start young and provide quality foods. This is why I love Monkey Brains so much and often recommend it to my pediatric clients. Their oatmeal and bars not only appeal to kids and taste de-lish, but are honest to goodness healthy!
